Morpheus

Sometimes when photographing horses, you capture unexpected facets of their personality. I’d expected Mo to be more high energy for his photo shoot – we’d pulled him away from his buddies, and there had been a bit of commotion in the barn not long before we started to work. Instead, he gave me something totally unexpected: the look and feel of pure serenity. Yes, I have some images where his goofy side is definitely showing, but the majority of images portray a quiet, gentle side with the loveliest soft eye…sweet, handsome, and I think I fell a little in love with him. Thank you, Mo. (And a huge thank you to his owner, Pam, for being a part of this project!)
